Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete
Ten University of Jamestown track and field athletes earned Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, announced by the NAIA on Friday. Seven women and three men comprised the UJ honorees. Three Jimmies--Allison Foster (SR/Rugby, N.D.), Dakota Wagner (SR/Jamestown, N.D.), and Matt Young (SR/Woodland, Wash.)--earned the award for the second consecutive season. The top eight placers in each event and top three relays are named All-Conference. GPAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week
April 10, 2019 SIOUX CITY, Iowa-- The Great Plains Athletic Conference and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced that Kylee Voigt (JR/Jamestown, N.D.) from the University of Jamestown has been recognized as Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week. Voigt ran a career-best and GPAC-leading time 57.98 seconds in winning the 400 meter dash at the Dordt Invite in Sioux Center, Iowa, last Saturday. Her time was .52 seconds better than her previous best. This marks the second time in three weeks Voigt has earned the honor. She was also selected as Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week on March 27.

GPAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week
March 27, 2019 SIOUX CITY, Iowa-- The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports announced that Kylee Voigt (JR/Jamestown, N.D.) of the University of Jamestown has been named Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week. Voigt picked up three second-place finishes at the Wayne State Classic in Wayne, Neb., last Saturday. She ran an outdoor career-best 58.55 seconds in the 400 meter dash, and 26.35 seconds in the 200 meters. Voigt also ran a leg on the 4 x 100 meter relay that finished in 51.18 seconds.
